The demand for this dangerous drug is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/the-status-of-american-abortion-facilities-telemedicines-impact-in-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rising<\/a> in the U.S. despite its <a href=\"https:\/\/lozierinstitute.org\/fact-sheet-risks-and-complications-of-chemical-abortion\/#_edn6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">four times<\/a> higher complication rate than surgical abortion and a jaw-dropping reality: the chemical abortion drug is connected to Nazi Germany. The affiliates of those who killed innocent children in the Holocaust introduced to our county the drug that is today killing innocent preborn children and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frc.org\/get.cfm?i=PV19E03\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">numerous<\/a> mothers.<\/p>\n<p>Pro-life activists often argue that the dehumanization of Jews by the Nazis and the dehumanization of the preborn by the abortion industry are philosophically similar phenomena. Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger was a relentless <a href=\"https:\/\/amp.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2014\/may\/5\/grossu-margaret-sanger-eugenicist\/?utm_source=GOOGLE&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_id=chacka&amp;utm_campaign=TWT+-+DSA&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwu5yYBhAjEiwAKXk_eOfvzmbFx7ZxIbY2oXsFYOOznEXlrr9nxcNRa-fkUdyQnyyY8nlIwhoC2kgQAvD_BwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">racist<\/a>. However, few know the true historical relationship between the Nazi genocide during World War II and today\u2019s chemical abortion industry, now responsible for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guttmacher.org\/article\/2022\/02\/medication-abortion-now-accounts-more-half-all-us-abortions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">54 percent<\/a> of abortions nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>In the early to mid-20<sup>th<\/sup> century, the pharmaceutical holding company I.G. Farben Chemical Company controlled much of the German chemical industry. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/topic\/IG-Farben\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Encyclopedia Britannica<\/a>, the infamous Auschwitz was one of I.G. Farben\u2019s very own chemical plants, responsible for the slavery and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auschwitz.org\/en\/history\/auschwitz-and-shoah\/the-number-of-victims\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">deaths<\/a> of more than a million people in World War II.<\/p>\n<p>Several of Farben\u2019s directors were also found guilty in the U.S\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archives.gov\/files\/research\/captured-german-records\/microfilm\/m892.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nuernberg War Crimes Trials<\/a> for slavery and mass murder. Georg von Schnitzler, a member of the managing board of directors of Farben, was even a captain in a violent division of the Nazi party that helped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/topic\/SA-Nazi-organization\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">facilitate<\/a> Hitler\u2019s rise before WWII. I.G. Farben Chemical Company was the archetype of an industrial demon.<\/p>\n<p>After the war, Western countries attempted to utterly splinter I.G. Farben industrial power, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/topic\/IG-Farben\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">divided<\/a> the holding company into three of its own industrial members, Hoechst, Bayer, and BASF. <\/p>\n<p>In 1974, the first of these three entities, Hoechst, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundinguniverse.com\/company-histories\/roussel-uclaf-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gained<\/a> a majority share of the holding company Chimio that controlled a French pharmaceutical company called Roussel Uclaf. By 1982, Roussel Uclaf had <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundinguniverse.com\/company-histories\/roussel-uclaf-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">developed<\/a> the RU-486 chemical abortion drug mifepristone.<\/p>\n<h2>Abortion Drug\u2019s Ties to Population Council, Planned Parenthood<\/h2>\n<p>During the mid-1990s, Roussel Uclaf <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/women\/news\/20000928\/brief-history-of-abortion-pill-in-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">allied<\/a> with the nonprofit Population Council, which led the charge for FDA approval of the abortion pill in the U.S., officially granted in 2000. During that time Hoechst <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/archives\/la-xpm-1996-12-12-fi-8212-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">acquired<\/a> the remaining shares of Roussel Uclaf.<\/p>\n<p>Like Hoechst, the Population Council had deeply eugenic roots. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/population-council\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aided<\/a> by the director of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the organization was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/population-council\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">founded<\/a> by John D. Rockefeller III, son of John D. Rockefeller, Jr.<\/p>\n<p>Rockefeller Jr. <a href=\"https:\/\/historynewsnetwork.org\/article\/1796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sponsored<\/a> German eugenic research leading up to the late-1930s that influenced later Nazi policy. Through the Rockefeller Foundation, he funded multiple institutions at which Ernst R\u00fcdin, who spearheaded Hitler\u2019s gruesome medical research during the Holocaust, held leading roles. One such organization was the Institute for Brain Research. According to The <a href=\"https:\/\/historynewsnetwork.org\/article\/1796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">History News Network<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Everything changed when Rockefeller money arrived in 1929. A grant of $317,000 allowed the Institute to construct a major building and take center stage in German race biology. The Institute received additional grants from the Rockefeller Foundation during the next several years. Leading the Institute, once again, was Hitler\u2019s medical henchman Ernst R\u00fcdin<strong>.<\/strong> R\u00fcdin\u2019s organization became a prime director and recipient of the murderous experimentation and research conducted on Jews, Gypsies and others<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/population-council\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Following in the footsteps<\/a> of the organization his father founded, in the 1950s Rockefeller III\u2019s Population Council supported the American Eugenics Society, eugenics-motivated sterilization of women, and the use of sex-selective abortion. It also tested, along with International Planned Parenthood Federation, population controlling IUD contraceptives in Pakistan, Taiwan, South Korea, and India in the \u201960s despite knowing their dangerous side effects on women. The council itself was led for years by openly eugenicist presidents Frederick Osborn and Frank Notestein, both of whom were members of the American Eugenics Society.<\/p>\n<h2>Aborting Minorities<\/h2>\n<p>Rockefeller III acted as chairman of President Nixon\u2019s 1969 Population and the American Future Commission just two years after receiving Planned Parenthood\u2019s Margaret Sanger Award. The commission staff was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicleague.org\/how-the-rockefellers-teed-up-roe-v-wade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">headed<\/a> by Dr. Charles F. Westoff of the American Eugenics Society and advised by eugenicist Daniel Callahan. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jstor.org\/stable\/2133777?seq=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">final report<\/a> endorsed decreasing population growth through supporting the option for women to obtain contraception and\/or abortion. No wonder the Population Council was such a willing candidate to spearhead FDA approval for the Hoechst\/Roussel Uclaf chemical abortion drug. <\/p>\n<p>Certain mid-19th century eugenicist figures such as Gunnar Myrdal in his 1944 book \u201cAn American Dilemma: The Negro Problem and Modern Democracy\u201d schemed that \u201cthe most effective way they could advance their agenda would be to concentrate population control facilities within the targeted communities,\u201d according to Life Dynamic\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maafa21.com\/racial-targeting-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Racial Targeting Report<\/a>. Today, abortion is the leading cause of death among African Americans, having taken an estimated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/115\/meeting\/house\/106562\/witnesses\/HHRG-115-JU10-Wstate-ParkerS-20171101-SD001.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">19 million<\/a> black lives. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/studentsforlife.org\/learn\/planned-parenthood-racism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Students for Life of America<\/a>, \u201cAlmost <a href=\"https:\/\/www.protectingblacklife.org\/pp_targets\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">80% of Planned Parenthood\u2019s abortion facilities<\/a> are located in minority neighborhoods. 88% of its new \u2018mega facilities\u2019 are located within walking distance of minority neighborhoods.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s abortion industry today is continuing Sanger\u2019s racist legacy. As filmmaker Jason Jones <a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/studentsforlife\/videos\/we-are-live-in-front-of-the-texas-state-capitol-for-the-heartbeat-celebration-an\/228078402100751\/?__so__=permalink&amp;__rv__=related_videos&amp;locale=ne_NP&amp;_rdr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bluntly put it<\/a>, even though today\u2019s abortion supporters generally reject eugenics, by still endorsing policies (namely abortion) that disproportionately kill black babies, they are \u201cwatering an apple tree hoping they get peaches.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A disproportionate number of black babies are being killed by the abortion industry. This is the effect Planned Parenthood founder and eugenicist Sanger hoped for. It is no surprise that organizations like Hoechst and Population Council, who have eugenic roots too, were inclined to join the abortion bandwagon considering its ability to control populations.<\/p>\n<p>Eugenic leaders laid the groundwork for today\u2019s abortion industry. Similar to the 1969 Commission using the language of women\u2019s choice to propagate what was possibly the eugenic dispositions of its leaders, today\u2019s abortion industry touts the language of bodily autonomy to bolster their abortion business. Considering that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/115\/meeting\/house\/106562\/witnesses\/HHRG-115-JU10-Wstate-ParkerS-20171101-SD001.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nearly half<\/a> of black babies are aborted in the U.S. today, abortion supporters don\u2019t seem to care that their policies, in effect, carry on the eugenic tendencies of the Population Council, both J.D. Rockefellers, I.G. Farben Chemical Company, and Margaret Sanger.<\/p>\n<p>The sad irony is that while the language of the abortion industry changed, its policies did not. Planned Parenthood still propagates a eugenic legacy through killing innocent children by chemical abortion.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Rachel Schroder is a history major at Hillsdale College.
