It\u2019s a record of where we\u2019ve been and who we are,\u201d FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel said. \u201cThat\u2019s why the FCC is taking steps to ensure this data is protected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In July, Rosenworcel asked the 15 top mobile carriers including Verizon, AT&#038;T, T-Mobile, Comcast, Alphabet\u2019s Google Fi and Charter Communications for information about their data retention and privacy policies and practices.
