What a dope I am. Ooh-rah!<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Joey Jones (@Johnny_Joey) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Johnny_Joey\/status\/1562514132150407168?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 24, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The veteran\u2019s tweet quickly went viral, racking up more than 40,000 likes in a matter of hours.<\/p>\n<p>Jones lost both legs and suffered serious damage to his right forearm and both wrists in 2010 while serving as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD\/Bomb) technician in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>The Fox News contributor was not the only one to express some feelings about Biden\u2019s announcement. As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/a-real-slap-in-the-face-people-who-already-paid-off-their-student-loans-react-to-biden-debt-cancellation-plan\">The Daily Wire<\/a>, others online called the move to cancel student debt \u201cf***ing insanity\u201d and \u201ca real slap in the face\u201d for those who\u2019ve paid off their debts or opted not to take out loans they couldn\u2019t afford.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of this means people can start finally to climb out from under that mountain of debt,\u201d Biden claimed in his remarks at the White House on Wednesday. \u201cTo finally think about buying a home or starting a family or starting a business. And by the way, when this happens, the whole economy is better off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Biden was asked if the policy is \u201cunfair to people who paid their student loans or chose to not take out loans,\u201d the president responded by talking about \u201cmulti-billion dollar businesses\u201d and tax breaks.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;Is this unfair to people who paid their student loans or chose to not take out loans?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Biden: &#8220;Is it fair to people who in fact do not own multi-billion dollar businesses? What do you think?&#8221;<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/4wpcbMAvDG\">pic.twitter.com\/4wpcbMAvDG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Daily Wire (@realDailyWire) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDailyWire\/status\/1562519445070757889?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 24, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to an <a href=\"https:\/\/budgetmodel.wharton.upenn.edu\/issues\/2022\/8\/23\/forgiving-student-loans\">analysis<\/a> from the University of Pennsylvania\u2019s Wharton School, the Biden debt forgiveness plan will\u00a0largely help higher income earners while exacerbating inflation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/bidens-student-loan-cancellation-would-cost-330-billion-and-largely-help-the-wealthy\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Nixing $10,000 of student loans per borrower would cost $298 billion in 2022 and a total of $329 billion by 2031 if the policy is renewed each year, according to the nonpartisan Wharton analysis.
