We don\u2019t have an exact date just yet, we\u2019re working on some of the logistics,\u201d Kathryn Limbaugh, 44, said according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/rush-limbaugh-widow-kathryn-virtual-memorial-service\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kathryn, who married Limbaugh in 2010, appeared Monday on \u201cThe Rush Limbaugh Show\u201d with guest host Mark Steyn to remember her late husband and how they met, as well as to field questions from some of his many loyal listeners.<\/p>\n<p>One of the callers told her, \u201cWe had somebody who could help us feel the words he was saying, and then we could put that to our everyday life. He made us feel like he was us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Limbaugh died Wednesday following a yearlong battle with Stage 4 lung cancer. Eulogies and tributes flooded in from the many people who acknowledged his pioneering impact on conservatism and AM talk radio as a medium. His career spanned more than 30 years, with his first syndicated show out of WABC in New York airing on Aug. 1, \u00a01988.<\/p>\n<p>Before he got to that point, Limbaugh <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fighting-through-failure-in-memory-of-rush-limbaugh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fought many years of failures<\/a> and setbacks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is a legend,\u201d said former President Donald Trump of Limbaugh, who was one his most ardent supporters. \u201cHe really is. There aren\u2019t too many legends around. But he is a legend. And those people who listen to him every day, it was like a religious experience for a lot of people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former Vice President Mike Pence credited Limbaugh with inspiring him to get involved with talk radio in his home state of Indiana, which spurred his political career.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRush Limbaugh gave voice to the ideals and values that made this country great; he inspired a generation of American conservatives; he reached men and women, young and old from every walk of life with his wit and wisdom, and he will be deeply missed,\u201d Pence <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/opinion\/mike-pence-rush-limbaugh-legacy-conservatives-repay-debt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wrote<\/a> in an op-ed for Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>Trump awarded Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom during last year\u2019s State of the Union address to commemorate his impact on media and the conservative movement.<\/p>\n<p>Kathryn was the one who broke the news of Limbaugh\u2019s passing last Wednesday, telling the audience in a statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>I am most certainly not the Limbaugh that you tuned in to listen to today.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I, like you, very much wish Rush was behind this golden microphone right now, welcoming you to another exceptional three hours of broadcasting.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>For over 32 years, Rush has cherished you, loyal audience, and always looked forward to every single show.
