Scott Perry\u2019s (R-Pa.) cellphone. The letter was signed by leaders representing organizations including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-conservative\">Conservative<\/a> Partnership Institute, the Media Research Center, and the Leadership Institute.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou must immediately share all documents related to these seizures, including the bases for each warrant, and communications related to the decision to proceed on each warrant,\u201d wrote the 11 conservatives, including former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Ken Cuccinelli.<\/p>\n<p>The group asserted that Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray \u201chave grossly failed\u201d in their mission to deal out justice by rolling out unprecedented moves against Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe DOJ and FBI have breached the public trust. This blatant politicization of the federal justice system is a dangerous escalation without precedent, and incompatible with the United States Constitution,\u201d the letter reads.<\/p>\n<p>It said both agencies \u201cignored historical norms in failing to work first with counsel, and instead progressing directly to raids and seizures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In an apparent effort to retrieve official documents taken from the White House after Trump left office, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/trump-fbi-has-raided-mar-a-lago-property-under-siege_4651554.html\">FBI raided the former president\u2019s home<\/a>\u00a0on Aug. 8 and obtained 11 sets of allegedly classified documents, according to documents obtained by The Epoch Times.<\/p>\n<p>Garland <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/mkt_morningbrief\/ag-merrick-garland-says-he-personally-approved-fbis-trump-raid_4658779.html\">said<\/a> on Aug. 11 that he had \u201cpersonally approved the decision to seek a search warrant\u201d and the DOJ \u201cdoes not take such a decision lightly.\u201d\u00a0The attorney general claimed that FBI agents are \u201cpatriotic\u201d and \u201cdedicated\u201d public servants who<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Multiple conservative organizations accused the Department of Justice and FBI of having \u201cbreached the public trust\u201d by\u00a0engaging in partisan politics against former President Donald Trump and his allies, according to an open letter issued on Friday.
