Keep our children safe for you and me.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"rev-more-content\">\n<p>The Democratic grassroots PAC has attempted to garner support for Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/25\/beto-orourke-greg-abbott-uvalde-shooting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">opponent<\/a>, Democratic Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O\u2019Rourke. It has urged voters to donate to the PAC\u2019s ActBlue <a href=\"https:\/\/secure.actblue.com\/donate\/KidsNotSoldiers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">account<\/a> to combat what they call \u201cAbbott\u2019s \u2018increasingly divisive, dangerous, and downright stupid policies.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The organization has called on Abbott to take action to prevent gun violence against children in schools in the aftermath of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/26\/texas-gunman-uvalde-salvador-ramos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">shooting<\/a> in Uvalde, Texas, which left 19 children and 2 fourth-grade teachers dead.
