Lindsey Graham<\/a>, and many others all gave the same justification for the FBI\u2019s actions that they gave for Trump\u2019s first and second impeachments: <em>\u201cNo one is above the law, not even a president of the United States.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yet, a<a href=\"https:\/\/conventionofstates.com\/voters-say-federal-bureaucracy-too-big-focused-on-pushing-political-agenda-rather-than-serving-americans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> majority of Americans<\/a> know that\u2019s categorically untrue. That\u2019s why so many of them rejected <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/11\/attorney-general-merrick-garland-admits-he-personally-approved-fbi-raid-on-trumps-home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Attorney General Merrick Garland<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/12\/christopher-wray-torched-on-twitter-for-scolding-those-who-dare-question-fbi-credibility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FBI Director Christopher Wray\u2019s<\/a> scolding of anyone who dared question their credibility following the raid.<\/p>\n<p>But while the FBI and DOJ have busied themselves with targeting Trump and his aides, colluding with the National School Boards Association to silence concerned parents, concocting entrapment schemes masquerading as plots to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and chasing down election integrity supporters at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, plenty of real criminals and security threats have gotten away scot-free. That\u2019s no accident. <\/p>\n<p>Here is everyone who Democrats and their bureaucrat buddies have deemed \u201cabove the law\u201d and unworthy of proper investigation and prosecution. <\/p>\n<h2>1. President Joe Biden<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/04\/18\/tax-records-show-that-in-2021-joe-biden-didnt-pay-his-fair-share-in-taxes-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A president avoiding paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes<\/a> seems like the kind of thing federal agencies, including the recently financially invigorated Internal Revenue Service, should explore. Yet Biden, who <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/04\/06\/joe-bidens-released-tax-returns-dont-explain-millions-in-income-where-did-it-come-from\/\">hasn\u2019t explained millions of dollars<\/a> of his recorded income, and First Lady Jill Biden together reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/05\/19\/his-returns-show-joe-biden-has-dodged-half-a-million-in-taxes-while-urging-tax-increases\/\">dodged<\/a>\u00a0about $517,000 in Medicare and Obamacare taxes between 2017 and 2020 without scrutiny. <\/p>\n<h2>2. Hunter Biden <\/h2>\n<p>The president\u2019s son isn\u2019t just a walking liability for the Biden family name, he\u2019s a glaring national security threat with a long, infamous history of using illicit drugs, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/05\/28\/hunter-biden-bragged-about-smoking-crack-with-d-c-mayor-marion-barry\/\">engaging in possibly criminal sexual escapades\u00a0with foreign women<\/a>, and selling access to his dad under the guise of doing business with foreign oligarchs. <\/p>\n<p>Besides all this and his reckless handling of a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/03\/26\/read-the-gun-background-check-form-where-hunter-biden-claimed-he-wasnt-using-drugs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lost gun in 2018<\/a> \u2014 which, against normal protocol, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/03\/25\/report-secret-service-tried-to-clean-up-biden-family-mess-in-hunters-missing-gun-incident\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Secret Service reportedly helped him<\/a> cover up \u2014 Hunter likely\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefdrlst.wpengine.com\/2021\/03\/25\/report-hunter-biden-may-have-lied-on-federal-background-check-form-to-purchase-a-gun\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lied on federal forms about his drug use<\/a> to purchase that gun, a felony, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden?source=%2Fpolitics%2Frevealed-hunter-biden-possession-of-a-controlled-substance-charge-kept-under-wraps-while-father-spearheaded-drug-war-from-senate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">barely a whisper of punishment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Hillary Clinton<\/h2>\n<p>Hillary Clinton and her staff mishandled highly classified information, which resulted in at least 91 security violations. The FBI, of course, never raided Clinton\u2019s house over her rogue server despite the crimes committed to cover it up. Instead, as Sen. Chuck Grassley <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/12\/grassley-to-wray-why-is-there-one-law-for-hunter-biden-and-hillary-another-for-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">put it<\/a>, the FBI \u201cinexplicably agreed to destroy [Clinton staffers Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson\u2019s] laptops knowing that the contents were the subject of Congressional subpoenas and preservation letters.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>4. Everyone Involved in Benghazi<\/h2>\n<p>Speaking of Clinton, why wasn\u2019t she or any other Obama-era bureaucrat who was responsible for abandoning four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, where they were murdered by terrorists, punished for trying to cover up the fatal scandal? <\/p>\n<h2>5. Illegal Border Crossers<\/h2>\n<p>U.S. Customs and Border Protection has apprehended roughly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/newsroom\/stats\/southwest-land-border-encounters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">3.5 million illegal border crossers <\/a>since Biden assumed office, but those migrants are rarely punished for violating the law. <\/p>\n<p>Instead of addressing how the compromised border is fostering an <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/videos\/cartel-country-the-untold-story-of-americas-black-market-on-the-border-full-documentary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">environment ripe for trafficking and other crimes<\/a>, the Biden administration along with the FBI and DOJ have brushed off concerns about illegal immigration. Apparently, it is more important to go after American citizens than prosecute <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/border-patrol-caught-ten-terror-suspects-border-july-new-data-shows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">potentially dangerous foreign ones<\/a>. <\/p>\n<h2>6. Gavin Newsom and Every Other Dem Who Partied While Americans Suffered Lockdowns<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/12\/03\/rules-for-thee-but-not-for-me-a-rundown-of-lockdown-leftists-ignoring-their-own-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dozens of Democrats<\/a> including California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Pelosi, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio were caught violating their own Covid-19 lockdown rules. If Democrats cared about rule of law so much, why did these politicians escape accountability? <\/p>\n<h2>7. Summer of Rage Rioters<\/h2>\n<p>During the summer of 2020, rioters looted, burned, and destroyed more than <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/09\/16\/george-floyd-riot-damage-could-cost-insurance-companies-upwards-of-2-billion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$2 billion<\/a> worth of private and federal property. Some of those who were caught were bailed out by Kamala Harris and her allies and <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/06\/20\/hundreds-of-nyc-rioters-looters-have-charges-dropped\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">let off the hook<\/a> by the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/almost-half-of-federal-cases-against-portland-rioters-have-been-dismissed-11618501979\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> federal government<\/a>. The rioters who weren\u2019t caught can live comfortably knowing that the DOJ is too busy trying to track down potential J6 offenders to prosecute them.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Climate Insurrectionists<\/h2>\n<p>In October 2021, rowdy climate rioters <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/10\/15\/can-you-spot-the-difference-between-these-two-insurrection-photos\/\">stormed the Department of the Interior<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/hDWGFMEoZjs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">physically fought with police<\/a>, and vandalized a building. Several officers were even injured, but I don\u2019t see the rioters\u2019 faces plastered all over an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fbi.gov\/wanted\/capitol-violence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FBI tip line website<\/a> nor an illegitimate congressional committee dedicated to their downfall. <\/p>\n<h2>9. Jane\u2019s Revenge<\/h2>\n<p>It took 44 days after attacks on dozens of pregnancy centers, churches, and pro-life organizations began for the FBI <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/17\/a-month-and-a-half-after-dobbs-leak-fbi-says-they-will-investigate-attacks-on-pro-life-groups-pregnancy-centers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">to tell The Federalist<\/a> that it would investigate the firebombings. Two months after the agency reportedly started its search into the criminal activity, neither the FBI nor DOJ has announced charges against the vandals, including a <a href=\"https:\/\/theanarchistlibrary.org\/library\/janes-revenge-first-communique\">mysterious anarchist-connected group<\/a> called Jane\u2019s Revenge, which took responsibility for some of the destruction.<\/p>\n<h2>10. Everyone Else Who Threatened SCOTUS over <em>Dobbs<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>Shortly after a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/05\/02\/supreme-court-abortion-draft-opinion-00029473\">leak<\/a> revealed that the Supreme Court planned to strike down\u00a0<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>,\u00a0leftists called for violence against the Republican-nominated justices. While the Biden administration and DOJ stood idly by, some even said the court <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/03\/lets-burn-this-place-down-left-calls-for-violence-after-treasonous-scotus-abortion-leak\/\">should burn to the ground.<\/a> It took until a man was caught attempting to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vox.com\/2018\/9\/4\/17818708\/supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaugh-merrick-garland\">one of Garland\u2019s former colleagues<\/a>, for the DOJ to respond to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rubio.senate.gov\/public\/index.cfm\/press-releases?ID=FB4AAE8A-C026-456F-9226-623191B70176\">Republican Sen. Marco Rubio\u2019s questions<\/a>\u00a0about whether the agency planned to prosecute anyone touting the \u201congoing, coordinated campaign of intimidation against the majority of the justices on the Supreme Court.\u201d Even then, nothing came of the DOJ\u2019s words. <\/p>\n<h2>11. The Pelosi Family<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/07\/23\/nancy-and-paul-pelosi-are-trading-large-with-a-wealth-of-hypocrisy\/\">Suspected insider trading<\/a> deserves at least a second glance by federal investigators, but it looks like, so far, Nancy Pelosi and her husband Paul have gotten away with conveniently timing their stock purchases and sales to massively grow their wealth. <\/p>\n<h2>12. Almost Everyone on Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s Client List<\/h2>\n<p>Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell were both convicted of trafficking children for sex, but the list of their clients is still reportedly harbored by the DOJ, something lamented by many <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/06\/06\/elon-musk-asks-why-doj-hasnt-leaked-jeffrey-epsteins-client-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">including Elon Musk<\/a>. Of those names that have surfaced from Epstein\u2019s \u201clittle black book,\u201d few have been prosecuted and convicted for their involvement in the sex-trafficking ring. <\/p>\n<h2>13. Marc Elias and Election Law-Breakers<\/h2>\n<p>Marc Elias has repeatedly tried to undermine U.S. elections, something the FBI <em>loves<\/em> to spy on Americans for. Elias has such a reputation for meddling and manipulating elections that <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/10\/federal-judge-eviscerates-russia-collusion-hoaxer-marc-elias-for-aiming-to-undermine-new-york-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">even a federal judge reprimanded him for it<\/a>. Unlike Douglass Mackey, who was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/social-media-influencer-charged-election-interference-stemming-voter-disinformation-campaign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">charged by the DOJ<\/a> for posting a meme encouraging Hillary voters to \u201ctext\u201d their votes, however, Elias has not faced any charges or unannounced raids.<\/p>\n<h2>14. Mark Milley<\/h2>\n<p>Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/09\/14\/treason-gen-milley-undermined-trump-white-house-with-secret-calls-promising-to-alert-china-of-potential-u-s-attacks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">undermined Trump<\/a> by having secret conversations with known U.S. enemy communist China. In those covert calls, Milley promised to warn China if the U.S. ever decided to attack. Talk about a national security threat that deserves some attention from federal law enforcement. <\/p>\n<h2>15. Eric Swalwell<\/h2>\n<p>Speaking of communist China, Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/12\/08\/fbi-communist-china-spy-infiltrated-california-politicians-including-russia-hoaxer-eric-swalwell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">canoodling with a known spy<\/a> for the nation\u2019s No. 1 enemy seems like a pretty serious offense. Instead of a member of the House Intelligence Committee facing consequences for giving foreign spies access to key U.S. government offices and information, Swalwell is still comfortably <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepSwalwell\/status\/1558173258855247872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1558173258855247872%7Ctwgr%5E07660625dfb9c388e6f10afe4a95c4a24d257921%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.foxnews.com%2Fmedia%2Fswalwell-tells-trump-fans-avoid-wreckage-fbi-raid-gets-hit-alleged-romance-chinsese-spy\">rage-tweeting about Trump<\/a> and MAGA supporters and appearing as a guest on corrupt corporate media programs. <\/p>\n<h2>16. The NSA<\/h2>\n<p>The National Security Agency deserved to be disbanded over its wiretapping scandal, but it\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/07\/05\/the-nsa-does-not-deny-reading-tucker-carlsons-emails\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">still spying on Americans such as Fox News host Tucker Carlson<\/a> with no reprimand. <\/p>\n<h2>17. Eric Holder<\/h2>\n<p>Former Attorney General Eric Holder misled Congress during its investigation of the Obama-era \u201cFast and Furious\u201d gun-running scandal, which used taxpayer dollars to put guns into the hands of Mexican drug lords. Holder was held in contempt, but that\u2019s pretty much the only punishment he received for intentionally dodging subpoenas and hiding documents from congressional oversight. <\/p>\n<h2>18. Susan Rice<\/h2>\n<p>President Barack Obama\u2019s National Security Adviser Susan Rice unmasked members of the Trump transition team and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2017\/09\/14\/reminder-susan-rice-lied-role-obama-admin-unmasking-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">then lied about it<\/a>. Unmasking may be a legitimate and legal process for those with the authority, but covering up an attempt to target the political enemies of the regime is an abuse of power that deserves examination.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, it was yet another action U.S. intelligence agencies exploited to justify spying on American citizens. <\/p>\n<h2>19. All the Russia Hoaxers<\/h2>\n<p>There were plenty of people in the DOJ and FBI who broke the law when they lied on official documents and to other officials to advance the Russia-collusion hoax. Yet, FBI Director Christopher Wray <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/04\/fbi-director-christopher-wray-refuses-to-condemn-russia-collusion-hoax\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">admitted<\/a> during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in early August that so far, none of the FBI agents involved in the SpyGate scandal against Trump have faced serious consequences. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, despite lying about why he was supplying information about a supposed link between Trump and the Russia-based Alfa Bank to the FBI, former Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/01\/the-special-counsel-proved-the-fbi-belongs-to-the-swamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was acquitted<\/a> and let go without consequence.   <\/p>\n<h2>20.\u00a0Themselves<\/h2>\n<p>The same people who control the enforcement of the law, who love lording \u201cno one is above the law\u201d over Americans, are the ones who think they are above any semblance of oversight or law or constitutionality.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why the FBI has <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/04\/fbi-director-wray-sets-possible-new-record-for-how-many-times-a-person-can-fail-in-a-3-5-hour-hearing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">skirted any of Congress\u2019s attempts at oversight<\/a> even though it has a long history of botched and politicized investigations, sometimes authorized on falsified information.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of investigating and prosecuting real crimes, the FBI and DOJ have chosen to shame Americans who have called out the corruption and politicization that clearly drives their agencies\u2019 actions. That\u2019s a deliberate decision, but also a disastrous one. <\/p>\n<p>Rule of law is one thing that sets the United States apart as a bastion of freedom, but when the government fails to uphold it properly, as the list details, the nation is in crisis and on the verge of falling apart.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Jordan Boyd is a staff writer at The Federalist and co-producer of The Federalist Radio Hour.
