Fox News also crushed the competition during the primetime hours of 8-11 p.m. ET, averaging 2.7 million viewers to finish with a comfortable advantage in nightly viewers compared to runner-up MSNBC\u2019s 1.5 million. It marked the 78th straight week that Fox News topped CNN and MSNBC in both measurables.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/jeffrey-toobin-almost-certainly-pushed-out-cnn-insiders\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>JEFFREY TOOBIN ALMOST CERTAINLY PUSHED OUT FROM CNN, INSIDERS SAY<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fox News also won both categories among the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54, averaging 242,000 total demo viewers and 377,000 during primetime.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image-ct inline\">\n<div class=\"m\"><source media=\"(max-width: 767px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 767px) and (max-width: 1023px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 1024px) and (max-width: 1279px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 1280px)\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a57.foxnews.com\/static.foxnews.com\/foxnews.com\/content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/640\/320\/gutfeld-banner.png?ve=1&#038;tl=1\" alt=\"\" Gutfeld! \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption\">\n<p>\n      &#8220;Gutfeld!&#8221; averaged 2.4 million viewers last week to outdraw CBS\u2019s &#8220;The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.&#8221;<br \/>\n      <span class=\"copyright\">(FOX)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Gutfeld!&#8221; averaged 2.4 million viewers to outdraw CBS\u2019s\u00a0&#8220;The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,&#8221; NBC\u2019s &#8220;The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon&#8221; and ABC\u2019s &#8220;Jimmy Kimmel Live!&#8221; and all other broadcast and cable late-night shows to finish the week as the most-watched late-night program in television. It was only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/shows\/gutfeld\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the third time in the program\u2019s history<\/a> that it topped &#8220;Colbert&#8221; for an entire week.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Gutfeld!&#8221; also topped all competition among the key demo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/cnns-jeffrey-toobin-announces-quitting-network-decided-20-years-leaving\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>CNN&#8217;S JEFFREY TOOBIN ANNOUNCES HE&#8217;S QUITTING NETWORK: &#8216;I&#8217;VE DECIDED THAT, AFTER 20 YEARS, I&#8217;M LEAVING&#8217;<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fox News aired 80 of the top 100 cable news telecasts for the week, while CNN didn\u2019t have any.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tucker Carlson Tonight&#8221; was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/shows\/tucker-carlson-tonight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">most-watched program in cable news<\/a> despite namesake host Tucker Carlson being on vacation.
