Gretchen <span class=\"gmail-il\">Whitmer <\/span>claimed Monday the bureau requested that Michigan State Police allow armed protesters into the state Capitol during an April 30, 2020, anti-lockdown demonstration, according to journalist Ken Bensinger.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Chappel testified Monday and Tuesday in Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr.\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/12\/fbi-bed-weed-whitmer-kidnapping\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">retrial<\/a> for the alleged kidnapping plot.
