He is expected to sign the measure into law Tuesday at the White House, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/white-house-unclear-inflation-reduction-act-cut-inflation-biden-sign-bill-tuesday\">according<\/a> to Fox News.<\/p>\n<div id=\"rev-more-content\">\n<p>Norquist claimed that sales and transfers from apps like Venmo and CashApp would be reported to the IRS. He also said that the expansion of the IRS was a problem on another front.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a vast expansion of paperwork, and one of the challenges we have with the IRS, they have not earned people\u2019s trust or respect,\u201d Norquist said. \u201cWhen tens of \u2013 thousands and thousands of people\u2019s audits and their personal income over a ten-year period was released a year and a half ago, the IRS said we are on it, we\u2019ll expose this, this will stop. They have exposed nothing. When the Senate has asked them, please tell us what\u2019s happening, they say it\u2019s a secret.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe saw this happen in the past, they go after conservatives who made contributions to political campaigns that the liberals did not like and then they get attacked publicly because their private contribution to, say, churches or other organizations get made public through the IRS workers, auditors, breaking the law and sharing it out to get them, and they are not firing people and they\u2019re not disciplining people,\u201d Norquist said.<\/p>\n<p>The IRS received criticism for leaks of taxpayer data to ProPublica in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2013\/05\/14\/irs-sent-confidential-info-on-conservatives-to-liberal-nonprofit-propublica\/\">2013<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/08\/internal-revenue-service-wealthy-americans-taxation-jeff-bezos\/\">2021<\/a> and also allegedly <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2013\/05\/23\/irs-obfuscating-the-truth-about-targeting\/\">targeted<\/a> Tea Party groups.<\/p>\n<p>The Treasury Department did not respond to a request for comment by the Daily Caller News Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
