With almost 40,000 likes and nearly 13,000 tweets, O\u2019Donnell\u2019s lie by omission went viral.<\/p>\n<p>Even after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kJIwtg23hSs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">admitting in her Monday evening segment<\/a> that Trump\u2019s passports were, in fact, included in the evidence extracted from the Florida mansion, O\u2019Donnell has yet to correct her misleading tweet.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, the \u201c60 Minutes\u201d correspondent doubled down by retweeting her colleague who amplified a statement from the FBI justifying the passport seizure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn executing search warrants, the FBI follows search and seizure procedures ordered by courts, then returns items that do not need to be retained for law enforcement purposes,\u201d the FBI said in the statement posted by CBS Associate Producer Rob Legare.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><\/figure>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Jordan Boyd is a staff writer at The Federalist and co-producer of The Federalist Radio Hour.
