It should be pretty apparent to anybody that\u2019s been alive for the past five years that the Biden family is completely compromised by the Communist Party of China,\u201d Perry <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/trump-ally-scott-perry-blasts-biden-doj-distracting-americans-ccp-influence-biden-family\">told Fox News<\/a> on Aug. 14, when asked about his thoughts on an unconfirmed scheduled meeting between President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping in November.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden family allegedly pocketed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/hunter-bidens-china-business-deals-should-raise-alarm-bells-author-says_4410029.html\">$31 million from Chinese businessmen<\/a> with close ties to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence, according to Peter Schweizer\u2019s book\u00a0\u201cRed-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win,\u201d published in January. Two months later, two Republican senators <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/senators-release-bank-records-showing-payments-from-china-to-hunter-biden_4371710.html\">presented bank records<\/a> on the Senate floor, with one record showing a $1 million payment from CEFC China Energy, a now-defunct company, to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-hunter-biden\">Hunter Biden<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Biden has not met Xi in person since taking office in 2021, but the two leaders have spoken on the phone five times, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/xi-to-biden-us-playing-with-fire-on-taiwan_4627968.html\">most recent call<\/a> taking place on July 28.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a grift for a very long time, and instead of going after the Communist Party of China, they\u2019re happy to change the text words of Jim Jordan that were on his phone,\u201d Perry continued. \u201cSo that\u2019s all a distraction to keep the American people from focusing on what really is actionable intelligence and actual evidence like you said in plain sight that the DOJ should be pursuing right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Epoch Times has reached out to the White House for comment.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2022\/08\/10\/Trump-GettyImages-1242419266-1200x800.jpg\"><\/a> Former President Donald Trump waves while<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.
