Talib\u2019s younger brother, former NFL star defensive back Aqib Talib, was reportedly at the game and witnessed the shooting, which was also caught on grim cellphone video.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the disagreement, the opposing coaching staff was involved in a physical altercation and one of the individuals involved in the altercation discharged a firearm striking one adult male,\u201d Lancaster Police said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Former NFL star Aqib Talib&#8217;s brother, Yaqub Talib, is a wanted man in Texas \u2014 this after cops say he was involved in a fatal shooting at a youth football game this weekend.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cBAD5ucp72\">https:\/\/t.co\/cBAD5ucp72<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 TMZ (@TMZ) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TMZ\/status\/1558916050569289730?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 14, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Shocked witnesses were horrified that a dispute over a game between children ages nine and under could end in the death of Hickmon, who coached the Dragon Elite Academy team. Hickmon\u2019s nine-year-old boy is believed to have watched his father\u2019s murder at the Lancaster Community Park in Dallas County.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis son witnesses him get shot and murdered on the field,\u201d fellow football coach Kerry Lewis told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox4news.com\/news\/yaqub-talib-lancaster-youth-football-shooting\">Fox 4<\/a>. \u201cThese kids are innocent. They shouldn\u2019t have to witness what they witnessed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Parents on the losing side were upset and blamed the referees. One spectator, possibly Talib, threatened to punch the referee, prompting the official to call an end to the game.<\/p>\n<p>Cellphone video showed a man believed to be Talib confronting Hickmon as a melee breaks out on the field.
