Then, on top of that of course, if citizens want to install solar panels on their roofs so that they can generate their own power, that\u2019s another 30% tax credit,\u201d Granholm continued, \u201cand of course there are the tax credits that are at the dealership for the automotive sector for electric vehicles and if you install an electric vehicle charging station in your home, you can get a tax credit.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">CNN: \u201cWhat, specifically, will [the Bidenflation Scam] do to lower costs for Americans right now?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm: \u201cIf you install an electric vehicle charging station in your home, you can also get a tax credit!\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/NKIQ4thvjK\">pic.twitter.com\/NKIQ4thvjK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1558811340394872834?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 14, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"rev-more-content\">\n<p>It\u2019s unclear whether Granholm could hear herself during the clip, as her comments were so beyond out of touch that it\u2019s hard to believe she knowingly said them out loud. \u201cJennifer Granholm wants you to believe spending tens of thousands of dollars on \u201cgreen\u201d home improvements, solar panels and an EV in exchange for some tax credits will lower your cost of living today,\u201d Daily Caller News Foundation managing editor Mike Bastasch <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MikeBastasch\/status\/1558854333860663298\">shared<\/a> on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>The average cost of an electric car hit $66,000 in July, according to Electrek, meaning that families would have to spend that money or a similar amount on other home improvements in order to receive a tax credit.
