Adam Schiff said on \u201cFace The Nation\u201d Sunday that he doesn\u2019t know what changed to warrant the FBI\u2019s raid on former President Donald Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago estate.<\/p>\n<p>Schiff\u2019s statement came after host Margaret Brennan asked him why the Department of Justice waited so long retrieve potentially classified documents from Trump, referencing the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/08\/donald-trump-statement-fbi-raid-mar-a-lago-florida\/\">FBI raid<\/a> on the former president\u2019s property on Monday, as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FaceTheNation\/status\/1558832944172736513\">seen<\/a> in a clip on Twitter. \u201cIf there was that sensitive level of information being held, why did justice department officials wait 18 months after the end of the Trump presidency? What changed that made this immediate?\u201d Brennan asked.<\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Why did the DOJ wait 18 months to retrieve the sensitive documents Trump kept? \u201cI don\u2019t know, but if the Trump people represented that they provided all the classified or national security information and didn\u2019t, that\u2019s a serious problem,\u201d Rep.
