Federal investigators removed numerous boxes from Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago residence, including at least 11 sets of classified documents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the end, it comes down to what is in these boxes\u2026 if it turns out to be the real deal, if it turns out that Donald Trump has violated the Espionage Act, that is a serious crime and he should be held to account,\u201d Morgan said. \u201cIf it doesn\u2019t turn out to be there, that there are legitimate questions, I think, from the Trump supporters about the different standards applied to Donald Trump that hasn\u2019t been applied to Hillary Clinton, to James Comey, to Hunter Biden and the others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Morgan then argued that the real political winner of the raid could be Biden if Trump becomes the Republican presidential nominee and then is weighed down by pending legal actions against him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019re Joe Biden, who would you rather face \u2014 Donald Trump who has all the baggage, who has the Jan. 6 investigation ranging a number of legal actions, all this stuff now\u2026 or would you rather face a much younger, more dynamic DeSantis who hasn\u2019t had the baggage?\u201d Morgan doubled down. \u201cSo, in a way, you could see that although it looks in the short term like this might play out advantageously for Trump politically, if he doesn\u2019t get nailed by what\u2019s going on here, actually it could work in Joe Biden\u2019s favor in 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Calling Trump \u201cthe luckiest man in the world,\u201d Maher said, \u201cHis fortune was finally falling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Big Lie was finally losing momentum,\u201d Maher continued.\u00a0\u201cDeSantis was beating him in the polls \u2014 you know who hates this more than anybody?
