Taxpayers will be funding a $369 billion package that includes a suite of dubious programs aimed at combatting climate change and pursuing environmental justice. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/11\/biden-get-billions-to-spend-on-green-programs-heres-what-happened-last-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Biden Will Get Billions To Spend On Green Programs. Here\u2019s What Happened Last Time He Had That Money)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For example, the Energy Secretary will give up to $6 billion to \u201cunderserved communities\u201d to fund neighborhood access and equity grant programs, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.democrats.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/inflation_reduction_act_of_2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to the bill\u2019s text. (Photo by Drew Angerer\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The bill spends $3 billion on providing the U.S. Postal Service with pricy zero-emission delivery vehicles and also includes a $1 billion federal grant program to allow the purchase and rental of \u201cclean heavy-duty vehicles,\u201d such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.democrats.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/summary_of_the_energy_security_and_climate_change_investments_in_the_inflation_reduction_act_of_2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">garbage trucks<\/a>. Section 50123 of the bill authorizes $200 million in grants for states to teach contractors how to install energy-efficient home appliances like dishwashers and dryers.<\/p>\n<div id=\"rev-more-content\">\n<p>Much of these taxes will be imposed upon tens of millions of middle-income Americans, according to the JCT.
