A spokesperson for CNN denied the outlet published such a story.<\/p>\n<div id=\"rev-more-content\">\n<p>Miller has been arrested twice this year and was recently charged by Vermont state police with felony burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/08\/11\/1116932907\/ezra-miller-scandals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NPR<\/a>. An image shared on Twitter suggests his legal trouble could be the result of an alleged connection with a cult leader.<\/p>\n<p>The Twitter image, retweeted over 330 times, appears to show a screen grab of an alleged Aug. 8 article from CNN with a headline that reads, <span>\u201cOfficials claim Ezra Miller has connections to infamous \u2018leftist\u2019 cult leader Gazi Kodzo.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Kodzo is the leader of the extremist sect \u201cBlack Hammer,\u201d which is located in Atlanta, Georgia, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajc.com\/news\/investigations\/the-radical-rise-and-cultish-fall-of-the-black-hammers\/C7LZ3BIV2FCZJKF6FLG2T7W5EM\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlanta Journal-Constitution<\/a>. The group is known for its \u201crevolutionary message\u201d regarding controversial topics such as the COVID-19 vaccine and election conspiracies, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe ezra miller rabbit hole just keeps getting deeper,\u201d reads the post\u2019s caption. <span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/08\/09\/fact-check-brittney-griner-dna-test\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did CNN Report The Russians Gave Brittney Griner A DNA Test To Determine Her Gender?)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The image is digitally altered. The article does not appear on CNN\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/search?q=Officials+claim+Ezra+Miller+has+connections+to+infamous+%E2%80%98leftist%E2%80%99+cult+leader+Gazi+Kondo&#038;from=0&#038;size=10&#038;page=1&#038;sort=newest&#038;types=all&#038;section=\"><span>website<\/span><\/a><span> or on any of the outlet\u2019s verified <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=Officials%20claim%20Ezra%20Miller%20has%20connections%20to%20infamous%20%E2%80%98leftist%E2%80%99%20cult%20leader%20Gazi%20Kondo%20(from%3Acnn)&#038;src=typed_query\"><span>social<\/span><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/page\/5550296508\/search\/?q=Officials%20claim%20Ezra%20Miller%20has%20connections%20to%20infamous%20%E2%80%98leftist%E2%80%99%20cult%20leader%20Gazi%20Kondo\"><span>media <\/span><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/cnn\/\"><span>accounts<\/span><\/a><span>.
