TPX IMAGES OF THE DAY<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p data-type=\"paragraph\">A White House official noted to the newspaper that there have been discussions regarding a face-to-face meeting, but declined to offer specifics.<\/p>\n<div id=\"rev-more-content\">\n<p data-type=\"paragraph\">China\u2019s Foreign Ministry told the WSJ that the country \u201csupports Indonesia and Thailand\u201d as hosts for the upcoming summits and that China \u201cis willing to work with all parties to promote the conference to achieve positive results.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-type=\"paragraph\">The meeting, if it occurs, would mark the first time Xi and Biden have met in person since the American president took office. Xi\u2019s trip would also be notable, as the last time he traveled outside of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/02\/us-sanctions-chinese-companies-over-iran\/\">China<\/a> was in early 2020, according to the WSJ.<\/p>\n<p data-type=\"paragraph\">The potential November meeting coincides with ongoing and increased tensions between the U.S. and China.
