Ron DeSantis to serve on his reelection campaign, she told the Daily Caller News Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Election laws restrict the ability of individuals to endorse political candidates or parties and make certain election-related statements in their capacity as government employees; now that Pushaw works for DeSantis\u2019 campaign and not the Florida government, she is free from those restrictions. She appeared to warn her opponents about the next phase of her career in a Friday tweet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, the gloves are off,\u201d she <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChristinaPushaw\/status\/1558104306292760583\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wrote<\/a> in response to a tweet about her resignation.<\/p>\n<p>During her tenure as press secretary, Pushaw has drawn national attention for her active and sometimes aggressive <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/07\/christina-pushaw-ron-desantis-florida-media-press\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">approach<\/a> to the role, sometimes sparring with reporters on Twitter and sharing screenshots of emails from journalists.<\/p>\n<div id=\"rev-more-content\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/27\/ron-desantis-christina-pushaw-washington-post-twitter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pushaw\u2019s<\/a> next role will be director of rapid response on DeSantis\u2019 gubernatorial reelection campaign, she told the DCNF. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/09\/anthony-sabatini-florida-fbi-mar-a-lago-donald-trump-department-of-justice\/\">(RELATED: \u2018Sever All Ties\u2019: Republican Florida State Rep Calls For The Arrest Of FBI Agents)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She listed out some of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/03\/ron-desantis-gender-affirming-care-transgender-sex-change-children-florida\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeSantis<\/a> administration\u2019s accomplishments in her resignation letter, such as fighting against COVID-19 vaccine mandates, keeping schools open and a record-high budget surplus in 2021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cAs the Governor said earlier this year, \u2018Together, we have made Florida the freest state in these United States.\u2019 The chance to play even a small part in achieving this has truly been the opportunity of a lifetime,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
