Ted Cruz leaked information stemming from Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop that implicated House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.<\/p>\n<p>The video provides no evidence of Cruz leaking information about Pelosi from Biden\u2019s laptop.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s laptop has been the subject of media interest since October 2020 when the New York Post published emails from the laptop that related to his business dealings and personal relationships, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/west-wing-playbook\/2022\/07\/13\/the-holy-war-over-hunter-bidens-laptop-00045698\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Politico<\/a>. The laptop and its contents were authenticated by the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/17\/nyt-admits-authenticity-hunter-biden-laptop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Daily Caller News Foundation<\/a> in 2020.<\/p>\n<div id=\"rev-more-content\">\n<p>Now, a post shared on Facebook claims information from the laptop implicates Pelosi. \u201cBoom! Its Over! Ted Cruz \ud835\udc0b\ud835\udc04\ud835\udc00\ud835\udc0a\ud835\udc12 \ud835\udc0d\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc30 Document \ud835\udc0e\ud835\udc1b\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc1d From Hunter\u2019s Laptop \ud835\udc08\ud835\udc0c\ud835\udc0f\ud835\udc0b\ud835\udc08\ud835\udc02\ud835\udc00\ud835\udc13\ud835\udc08\ud835\udc0d\ud835\udc06 Nancy Pelosi,\u201d reads the 20-minute video\u2019s caption and title.<\/p>\n<p>However, there is no evidence that Cruz leaked information from the laptop. If he had done so, credible media outlets would have covered it, yet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=ted+cruz+released+documents+hunter+biden+laptop+nancy+pelosi&#038;source=lnms&#038;tbm=nws&#038;sa=X&#038;ved=2ahUKEwj439PA67z5AhXoBEQIHQc4BqsQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&#038;biw=1440&#038;bih=821&#038;dpr=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">none have<\/a>. Cruz has also not posted any alleged documents from Biden\u2019s laptop implicating Pelosi on his verified <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tedcruz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter account<\/a> or his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruz.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The video itself does not provide any evidence for the claim. The first clip shows Republican Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley during an Aug. 4 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?522068-1\/fbi-director-wray-testifies-senate-judiciary-committee-oversight-hearing&#038;live&#038;vod\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Senate Judiciary Committee<\/a> hearing in which FBI Director Christopher Wray testified. In the video, Grassley asks about Biden\u2019s laptop but does not claim to have information about Pelosi.<\/p>\n<p>The second clip shows Cruz questioning Assistant Attorney General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?522074-1\/hearing-threats-election-workers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kenneth Polite<\/a> about protection for Supreme Court justices in the wake of protests. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WwaRD0w2ReI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">final <\/a>clip is from Cruz\u2019s recent appearance at CPAC.
