There is no evidence to suggest that he is \u201cexpected to pass\u201d or has suffered another stroke.<\/p>\n<div id=\"rev-more-content\">\n<p>Santana <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swtimes.com\/story\/news\/2022\/07\/09\/carlos-santana-cancels-show-arkansas-and-others-due-heat\/10020567002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">canceled<\/a> several of his shows in July after the 74-year-old musician was \u201cover-taken by heat exhaustion and dehydration\u201d while performing in Michigan July 5, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/carlossantana\/posts\/pfbid035kjE63gYhdK4mht6i2URWHwzgiu8QKaGNHpXcPLkvsnwPz1Y1V7GdGgD7b4zJXE8l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">statement<\/a> from his team. A post shared on Facebook more than 420 times claims he is not expected to survive the medical emergency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCARLOS SANTANA is in the hospital,\u201d reads the Aug. 9 post. \u201cHe has had a bad stroke and is expected to pass. PRAYERS FOR CARLOS! Man, such bad news.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span>This claim is baseless. While Santana suffered what <a href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/life-style\/health\/1636574\/carlos-santana-health-heat-exhaustion-fainted-michigan-show\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Express<\/a> described as a \u201cheat stroke\u201d during the July 5 concert in Michigan, he was reportedly doing \u201cwell\u201d shortly after the incident, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/carlossantana\/posts\/pfbid021x37ECc83DMrF1XTTFixxrZdURe3Mz4smRCSiC2NWauHQ99kEZAnuGThkZtU73WHl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">July 6 statement<\/a> from his team.
