Allwin, the widow of hedge fund founder James Allwin, has made numerous contributions to Democratic causes, including a $35,000 check to the Biden Victory Fund and the Democratic National Committee, according to the Federal Election Commission.<\/p>\n<p>The president has reportedly vacationed at the two-acre property before. \u201cThey\u2019ve never paid. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and a PAC supporting her re-election effort, the Post reported.<\/p>\n<p>Biden arrived in South Carolina with his family Wednesday and is expected to be away from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-white-house-keeps-claiming-it-learned-about-trump-raid-events-from-the-press\">White House<\/a> for a week, the Associated Press <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/biden-travel-south-carolina-charleston-federal-aviation-administration-257033a31c1e02aabd9a1cf5a819797a\">reported<\/a>. According to the AP, the Biden White House did not respond to requests for details on the president\u2019s vacation schedule. The president and first lady Jill Biden were accompanied on Air Force One by Hunter Biden and his wife Melissa Cohen, along with Hunter\u2019s son Beau.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden family vacation comes days after the FBI raided former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/donald-trump\">Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s home in south Florida, a raid Republicans are calling a \u201cdouble standard\u201d for the Justice Department compared to its treatment of Hunter Biden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime\u2019s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves. The DOJ has some serious questions to answer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The source claimed that the Allwin family is not engaged in business dealings with the Bidens, nor are they directly linked to Hunter Biden, as the president\u2019s disgraced son is under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/07\/20\/politics\/hunter-biden-investigation-critical-juncture\/index.html\">federal investigation<\/a>. Last month, federal prosecutors were allegedly weighing charging Hunter Biden with multiple crimes ranging from various aspects of his business dealings to his lying on a background check to obtain a firearm, The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/critical-stage-feds-consider-charging-hunter-biden-with-multiple-crimes-including-gun-charges\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Officials familiar with the matter told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/hunter-biden-probe-critical-stage-officials-weigh-possible-charges-source\">Fox News<\/a> that the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden had reached a \u201ccritical stage\u201d after a federal grand jury looking into the president\u2019s son concluded its most recent term at the end of June.
