And everyone is just supposed to accept that, that there was no other way to go about it.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/08\/lara-trump-mar-a-lago-raid-fbi\/\">(RELATED: \u2018Think About What They Could Do To You\u2019: Lara Trump Issues Dire Warning To American Public After Mar-a-Lago Raid)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Federal agents raided Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago home early Monday morning, ostensibly to seize documents Trump had taken from the White House after he left office, according to multiple sources. Attorney General Merrick Garland said Thursday he personally authorized the raid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut then immediately, your mind goes to the FISA filing, that we couldn\u2019t see for a really long time,\u201d MacCallum continued. \u201cIt goes to all other things in the Russia collusion that we were just supposed to accept were legitimate underlying evidence like the Steele Dossier, that merited the surveillance of people like George Papadopoulos and Carter Page.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Special counsel John Durham\u2019s investigation into the origins of the probe into allegations that former President Donald Trump colluded with Russia during his successful 2016 campaign for the White House led to the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/07\/steele-used-russians-trump-dossier-critics-danchenko-indictment\/\">indictment<\/a> of Igor Danchenko on charges of lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is what I was pointing to earlier, that I think is sad in terms of the destruction of trust in the country, that is based on a number of things, we could both go on for quite a while,\u201d MacCallum said. \u201cSo that\u2019s why we need to see the affidavit.
