And it shouldn\u2019t have happened,\u201d Greene told The Epoch Times and NTD as part of a special report on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-fbi-raid\">FBI raid<\/a>, airing on Friday, Aug. 12 on Epoch TV at 9pm.<\/p>\n<p>The documents in Trump\u2019s possession weren\u2019t important to the current administration or the FBI so Trump did \u201cnothing wrong,\u201d Greene added.<\/p>\n<p>The FBI <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/trump-fbi-has-raided-mar-a-lago-property-under-siege_4651554.html\">raided<\/a> Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago home in search of documents on Aug. 8, sending shock waves through American politics. Agents didn\u2019t let Trump\u2019s lawyers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/trump-suggests-fbi-may-have-planted-evidence-during-mar-a-lago-raid_4655282.html?utm_source=ai&#038;utm_medium=search\">watch<\/a> the search.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2022\/08\/11\/mar-a-lago-shot-1200x798.jpg\"><\/a> Former president Donald Trump\u2019s residence in Mar-A-Lago, Palm Beach, Fla., on Aug. 9, 2022. (Giorgio Viera\/AFP via Getty Images) <\/p>\n<p>Trump said a raid like this one \u201ccould only take place in broken, Third World countries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also called it \u201cprosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the justice system, and an attack by radical left Democrats who desperately don\u2019t want [him] to run for president in 2024, especially based on recent polls.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The FBI raid follows a pattern reaching all the way back to 2016, when the Obama administration wiretapped Trump Tower, Greene said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey have been coming after President Trump over and over and over again, with many different things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She claimed \u201cAnd all of them have been lies and false accusations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the past week, the FBI also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/rep-scott-perry-says-fbi-seized-his-cell-phone-after-mar-a-lago-raid_4654179.html\">confiscated<\/a> the cell phone of Trump ally Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.), Greene noted. She said that these actions are part of a plan to stop Trump\u2019s 2024 campaign before it starts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey see the support that he has all over the country.
