The 45th President plead the fifth during his deposition. He took to <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/108798613637233543\">Truth Social<\/a> Wednesday to explain why he did not answer questions from Letitia James.<\/p>\n<p>Trump said he did nothing wrong and is trying to protect his family from an unfounded and politically-motivated witch hunt. He then pointed to James\u2019 remarks insinuating that she wanted Trump out of office before she was elected to that position.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Democrats like New York\u2019s radical Attorney General Letitia James campaigned on suing President Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats do not have solutions. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s time to Save America. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PqEMfZEyky\">pic.twitter.com\/PqEMfZEyky<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TrumpWarRoom\/status\/1557430163129909250?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 10, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The deposition was part of the attorney general\u2019s civil fraud investigation into the Trump Organization, alleging his company misrepresented finances to banks, insurers and the IRS.<\/p>\n<p>Trump said, after five years of investigating, the federal, state and local governments have found nothing.
