Wade<\/em> would be overturned, and authorities have still not uncovered the leaker\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n<p>That leak prompted protests across the nation, accompanied by an alleged assassination attempt on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, as well as attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers and Catholic churches.<\/p>\n<p>It is widely believed that the leak was intended to intimidate justices<em>.\u00a0<\/em>Chief Justice John Roberts, who directed the marshal of the court to launch an investigation into the leaker the day after the May 2 leak, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/publicinfo\/press\/pressreleases\/pr_05-03-22\">stated<\/a> that the move was intended to \u201cundermine the integrity of our operations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will not succeed,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Charles Stimson, senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation and deputy director of the Edwin Meese III Center, told The Daily Wire on Wednesday that most experts are operating under the assumption that the leaker has not been conclusively identified.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne would think that the chief, who cares about the institutional integrity of the court, would, if anything surfaced of note, make that public,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire has repeatedly pressed the court as to what stage its investigation is at and whether the leaker has been identified.
