The Presidential Records Act was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archives.gov\/about\/laws\/presidential-records.html\">signed<\/a> in 1978 and requires records related to the oval office to be preserved and kept by the National Archives and Record Administration.<\/p>\n<p>Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/08\/donald-trump-statement-fbi-raid-mar-a-lago-florida\/\">called<\/a> the search a \u201cweaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don\u2019t want me to run for President in 2024\u201d on Monday. A Florida attorney who works for Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/trump-mara-a-lago-fbi-search-lawyer\/\">told<\/a> CBS News that she and another attorney were not allowed to enter Trump\u2019s home during the warrant execution.<\/p>\n<p>FBI agents spent roughly eight hours at the property, said the lawyer, according to CBS News. And the American people have an urgent right to know how it happened and who is responsible,\u201d said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.<\/p>\n<p>The White House has so far <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/biden-not-briefed-raid-trumps-florida-home-white-house-says-2022-08-09\/\">denied<\/a> that it had any prior knowledge of the executed warrant on Trump\u2019s residence. Two former FBI agents told the DCNF Tuesday it is likely the White House would in fact be <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/09\/biden-trump-doj-garland\/\">briefed<\/a> on a matter of this magnitude.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo an event like yesterday\u2019s is orchestrated, and particularly because it\u2019s done against the former president,\u201d said ex-FBI Agent Robert Chacon, who specialized in criminal, counterterrorism and forensic matters. \u201cIt\u2019s orchestrated at the highest levels.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A spokesman for Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
