Banks visited the former president along with about a dozen other members of his caucus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe didn\u2019t seem defeated in the least bit\u2014he was very fired up, very upbeat,\u201d Banks <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/gop-rep-banks-says-trump-fired-fbi-raid-made-mind-2024\">told<\/a> Fox News of Trump\u2019s mindset, coming one day after the FBI search of his Mar-a-Lago property in Palm Beach, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe said we are going to like his decision and it is only a matter of time before he will make that decision known,\u201d Banks told the outlet, adding that he and other lawmakers called on Trump to make a decision on whether to run \u201csooner rather than later.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The former president \u201conly helps us win back more seats in November,\u201d Banks argued. \u201cThe Republican Party is bigger and stronger than ever before because of Donald Trump\u2019s leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Monday evening, Trump said via Truth Social that Mar-a-Lago was raided by FBI agents. Neither the Department of Justice nor the FBI has publicly commented on the raid; The Epoch Times has repeatedly contacted the two agencies for comment.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Trump said that agents were searching the premises for documents.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/GettyImages-1232441752-1200x800-1.jpg\"><\/a> Rep.
