Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) has been trying to hold U.S. public health agencies accountable on many issues, including why the agencies censored early treatment options for COVID-19, pushed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-vaccine-mandates\">vaccine mandates<\/a>, and demonstrated a lack of integrity and transparency involving the vaccine data and reporting.<\/p>\n<p>After conducting two years of oversight, Johnson said that the U.S. medical system has been compromised by money from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-big-pharma\">Big Pharma<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have\u00a0a corrupt medical system in this country,\u201d Johnson said in a recent interview for NTD\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntd.com\/sen-ron-johnson-questions-remain-over-vaccine-efficacy-side-effects_819196.html\">Capitol Report<\/a>\u201d program. \u201cFrom the pharmaceutical companies down to the federal health agencies through to\u00a0the research centers and medical journals.\u00a0It should concern every American.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Agencies including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health, and the Food and Drug Administration have not freely provided the public with accurate data about the vaccine\u2019s origin, efficacy, and adverse effects, said Johnson, and he and others conducting oversight have had to rely heavily on other countries\u2019 data.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve had to look to either Israel or Public Health England, Public Health Scotland. Now they\u2019re shutting down their information streams as well,\u201d he said. \u201cOne of my biggest concerns is our federal health agencies have not been honest. They\u2019ve not been transparent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He called what the CDC is doing \u201cwillful ignorance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Public Health Agencies Contradicting Themselves <\/p>\n<p>Johnson sent a letter to CDC Director Rochelle Walensky in late July, demanding answers as to why there have been conflicting statements about the CDC\u2019s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-vaers\">VAERS<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/exclusive-cdc-says-it-performed-vaccine-safety-data-mining-after-saying-it-didnt_4617563.html\">The Epoch Times reported<\/a>\u00a0that Dr. John Su, who heads the CDC\u2019s\u00a0Immunization and Safety Office, claimed that the CDC has been performing Proportional Reporting Ratio analyses on data from VAERS since<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the early days of the pandemic, Sen.
