It seems it had something to do with presidential documents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The FBI executed a search warrant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us-judge-in-florida-approved-search-warrants-before-fbi-raid-of-trumps-resort_4652659.html\">approved by<\/a> U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart on Aug. 5, court records show. Reinhart\u00a0issued the order in response to multiple requests, including a warrant for electronic communications suspected to be relevant to an ongoing criminal investigation, according to docket entries.<\/p>\n<p>In Tuesday\u2019s interview,\u00a0Guthrie asked Pelosi to comment on House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOPLeader\/status\/1556807790433271809\">statement<\/a>, saying \u201cwhen Republicans take back the House,\u201d they will \u201cconduct immediate oversight\u201d of the Department of Justice (DOJ).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Attorney General Garland: preserve your documents and clear your calendar. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dStAjnwbAT\">pic.twitter.com\/dStAjnwbAT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kevin McCarthy (@GOPLeader) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOPLeader\/status\/1556807790433271809?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 9, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pelosi responded that whatever McCarthy is saying \u201cis probably idle,\u201d adding that she believes \u201cDemocrats are going to win the House\u201d in the 2022 midterms, referencing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/house-democrats-propose-bill-to-place-term-limits-on-supreme-court-justices_4624669.html\">what\u2019s happening with Roe v. Wade<\/a> and legislation Democrats are passing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut nonetheless, we believe in the rule of law. That\u2019s what our country is about,\u201d Pelosi said regarding the FBI\u2019s search. \u201cAnd no person is above the law. Not even the president of the United States. Not even a former president of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The FBI has declined to comment on the raid. The DOJ has not returned an inquiry.
