He put it right to the oil companies,\u201d Klain said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery single day this summer, the price of gas is down. It\u2019s down well over a dollar. We\u2019re going to see today, the average price of gas fall to $3.99. The most common price of gas in America now is $3.79. So, by taking on these special interests, taking on these powerful interests, we\u2019re making progress on inflation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president\u2019s having victories over those special interests.
