(Kim Min-Hee-Pool\/Getty Images) <\/p>\n<p>Jo Yong Sam, director general at the North Korean Foreign Ministry\u2019s press and information affairs department, condemned Pelosi\u2019s visit to South Korea and called her \u201cthe worst destroyer of international peace and stability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPelosi, who had come under a volley of due criticism from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-china\">China<\/a> for destroying regional peace and stability by visiting Taiwan, stirred up the atmosphere of confrontation with the DPRK during her visit to South Korea,\u201d Jo said in <a href=\"https:\/\/kcnawatch.org\/newstream\/1659943871-370484054\/statement-of-director-general-of-department-of-press-and-information-of-dprk-foreign-ministry\/\">a statement<\/a> carried by state media, using North Korea\u2019s official acronym.<\/p>\n<p>Pyongyang said that Pelosi\u2019s bilateral talks with South Korean authorities on security alliance and her visit to the DMZ exemplified \u201cthe hostile policy\u201d of the Biden administration toward North Korea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would be a fatal mistake for her to think that she can go scot-free in the Korean Peninsula,\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>North Korea has denounced U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi\u2019s visit to South Korea, calling it an attempt by Washington to provoke \u201cSouth Korean conservative forces into confrontation\u201d with Pyongyang.
