Americans\u2019 approval of Biden\u2019s handling of gas prices increased to 34% from a mark of 27% in a June <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/economic-issues-top-publics-agenda-poll\/story?id=85183412\">poll<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The economy contracted by 0.9% in the second quarter of 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bea.gov\/data\/gdp\/gross-domestic-product\">according<\/a> to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, following a 1.4% <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/28\/gdp-growth-joe-biden-covid-stagflation\/\">decline<\/a> in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first quarter.
