Where do you come down on this as a former White House aide?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh, I hope he runs, I know he\u2019s going to run, he\u2019s planning to run, as he said many times,\u201d LaRosa replied, adding that he was not at all surprised to see certain media outlets throwing a wet blanket over a potential re-election bid. Referencing \u201cDemocratic bed-wetting time,\u201d he noted that a similar piece had been published urging former President Bill Clinton not to run again in 1995.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWait, are you saying the media is predictable, that we always do this?\u201d Stelter asked, feigning shock.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVery cyclical. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, they all \u2014\u201d LaRosa agreed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis age makes a difference,\u201d the CNN anchor pushed back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo you guys, but after you look at the week he just had and the wins he racked up while he had COVID, I don\u2019t see why he wouldn\u2019t run,\u201d LaRosa continued.<\/p>\n<p>Stelter pivoted to mention Hunter Biden and the fact that he was still <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/hunter-biden-could-face-federal-charges-related-to-prostitution-experts\">the subject<\/a> of a federal investigation. \u201cCharges could be coming at any time,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is not just a right-wing media story, this is a real problem for the Bidens. Could he decide not to run for re-election given his son?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, they make decisions as a family. And they will make that decision when it\u2019s time,\u201d LaRosa replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you think they\u2019ve talked about it yet?\u201d Stelter pressed again.<\/p>\n<p>LaRosa said he didn\u2019t think so, arguing that Biden was likely just focused on doing his job and suggesting again the media was getting out a little ahead of its skis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe intends to run, like I said.
