But Sunday, he returned to practice. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are working, there is no distraction,\u201d Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said on the practice field. \u201cI understand there are things that happen that certainly get attention, and that\u2019s OK. \u2026 This is normal. This is NFL football, as far as I know.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"nlp-ignore-block article-content rich-text\">\n<aside class=\"promo-link\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/fox8.com\/news\/qb-quandary-whats-next-for-the-browns-after-watson-suspension\/?ipid=promo-link-block1\" class=\"promo-link__link\" target=\"\" _blank rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n\t\t What\u2019s next for the Browns after Watson suspension?\t<\/a><br \/>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p>Stefanski declined to answer questions specifically about Hunt, just as he has about the status of <a href=\"http:\/\/fox8.com\/tag\/deshaun-watson\">Watson<\/a>, the starting quarterback who is waiting to see how long he will be suspended for violating the league\u2019s personal conduct policy.<\/p>\n<p>Hunt is in the final year of a two-year, $12 million deal he signed two years ago. If the Cleveland-area native is on the active roster for all 17 games, he will earn $6.25 million this season. Here\u2019s how you can take home some of its treasures\t<\/a><br \/>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI am not going to get into anything that has to do with our players, conversations that I have with our players, and those types of things,\u201d he added. \u201cIf our players are healthy, they practice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no doubt the Browns value Hunt \u2014 who led the league in rushing as a rookie for Kansas City in 2017 \u2014 but he wasn\u2019t healthy a year ago and the team has better depth now at that position.<\/p>\n<p>The Browns signed Hunt, who is from the Cleveland area, as a free agent in 2019. He came with his own baggage: suspended by the league for the first eight games of 2019 for off-field behavior, which included him shoving and kicking a woman while he played for the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"nlp-ignore-block article-content rich-text\">\n<aside class=\"promo-link\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/fox8.com\/news\/i-team\/five-rta-workers-suspended-under-investigation-i-team\/?ipid=promo-link-block3\" class=\"promo-link__link\"><br \/>\n\t\tFive RTA workers suspended under investigation: I-Team\t<\/a><br \/>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p>Running ferociously every time he touched the ball, Hunt rushed for 841 yards in 2020 and added 304 yards receiving.
