And, in most cases, they don\u2019t break out in popular culture.<\/p>\n<p>Is anyone humming Pink\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/pink-bashes-supreme-court-trump-and-guns-with-angry-new-single-irrelevant\">Irrelevant<\/a>\u201d beyond the folks on her tour bus?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now, though, right-leaning artists are picking up the slack. These songs can\u2019t be heard on terrestrial radio, and \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d most likely won\u2019t be showcasing them between its hard left-leaning sketches.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, these songs still leave a serious mark, bumping aside superstars like Lizzo and Adele in the process. One draws so much satirical blood it\u2019s amazing the song\u2019s target didn\u2019t enter the Witness Protection Program.<\/p>\n<p>Either way, they offer both a welcome balance and a sense that the whole \u201cpower to the people\u201d cry still matters.<\/p>\n<p>Five Times August<\/p>\n<p>This talented singer\/songwriter (real name: Brad Skistimas) enjoys some mainstream success via his extensive TV show and commercial work. He\u2019s appeared on FOX Business and Billboard Magazine, but it\u2019s his satirical songs that deserve greater attention.<\/p>\n<p>Tracks like \u201cI Will Not Be Leaving Quietly,\u201d \u201cThis Just In,\u201d and \u201cFight for You\u201d showcase his abilities, and his sonic assault on Dr. Anthony Fauci may be his most incendiary, and richly rewarding, song to date.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=UsANoiJa9Uc\">Sad Little Man<\/a>,\u201d accompanied by a killer video with echoes of Terry Gilliam\u2019s Monty Python artwork, eviscerates the nation\u2019s best-paid bureaucrat.<\/p>\n<p>Sad little man but he\u2019s treated like a God<br \/>As the faithless pray to a fake and a fraud<br \/>Worship the man, pledge to his word<br \/>One shot, two shot, now you get a third<\/p>\n<p>Tom MacDonald<\/p>\n<p>The rapper isn\u2019t conservative or liberal, but his anti-woke spirit speaks directly to Red State USA. It\u2019s hard to pick just one MacDonald song that undresses the identity politics crowd. He\u2019s deflated the progressive movement with \u201cFake Woke,\u201d \u201cWhiteBoy,\u201d and \u201cStraight White Male.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His hit song \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fCMwlorNEZk\">Snowflakes<\/a>\u201d perfectly captures his inner protest singer.<\/p>\n<p>I hear \u2019em preaching at a protest that hatred\u2019s the problem<br \/>But hating straight men, white folks, and Christians is common<br \/>Coca Cola telling people they should be less white<br \/>They preaching tolerance but if you disagree, they fight<br \/>There\u2019s a race war here, elections based on fear<br \/>Black lives only matter once every four years<\/p>\n<p>MacDonald\u2019s music videos routinely rack millions of views and often rise to the top of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/tom-macdonald-moves-enough-albums-to-top-billboard-at-1-but-data-collection-agency-wont-respond-301500821.html\">modern charts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>John Rich\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The country superstar isn\u2019t known for his protest songs, but that all changed in 2022. The singer, part of the Big and Rich duo, uncorked a whopper of a track that instantly caught fire. Those flames didn\u2019t ignite on the radio, broadcast television, or even Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Rich promoted \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=v6tOAafAJCA\">Progress<\/a>\u201d on both Rumble and Truth Social, two platforms that embrace free speech principles.<\/p>\n<p>The result? \u201cProgress\u201d soared to the number one spot on Apple iTunes music chart, knocking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/woke-vs-patriotism-lizzo-and-john-rich-both-have-1-songs-right-now-but-who-wins\">Lizzo down a peg in the process<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They shut down our pipelines<br \/>And they shut down our voices<br \/>They shut down our main streets<br \/>And they shut down our choices<br \/>They bent us all over<br \/>But it\u2019s all over now<br \/>\u2018Cause we\u2019ve figured it out<br \/>We ain\u2019t backing down<\/p>\n<p>Five for Fighting<\/p>\n<p>John Ondrasik\u2019s musical alter ego gave us smashes like \u201cSuperman (It\u2019s Not Easy)\u201d and \u201c100 Years.\u201d The hockey devotee leans to the Right, but his music hardly reflects that world view. He\u2019s also an unlikely artist to embrace the protest song ethos.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Things changed after he watched the heartbreaking headlines generated by President Joe Biden\u2019s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. The news proved so awful even the corrupt mainstream press couldn\u2019t cover for Biden.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ondrasik has deep ties to the military community, and when he had learned of even more devastating news tied to the withdrawal, he had had enough.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=e4TUAYg0UCw\">Blood on My Hands<\/a>,\u201d a withering takedown of Team Biden, and released it on YouTube.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hands<br \/>Got blood on my hands<br \/>Got blood on my hands<br \/>Flag of the Taliban<br \/>Over Afghanistan<br \/>General Austin, is there no honor in shame?<br \/>Can you spell Bagram without the letters in blame?<br \/>Did uncle Joe stick a drip in your veins?<\/p>\n<p>To no one\u2019s surprise <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10380487\/Youtube-removes-singer-songwriter-John-Ondrasiks-Blood-Hands-video-slammed-Biden.html\">YouTube censored the song<\/a>, claiming the Taliban-related imagery accompanying the track wasn\u2019t appropriate. Ondrasik had put up his own \u201cgraphic warning\u201d label on the video and applauded YouTube for doing the same after they added a child content restriction. His hands stopped clapping, though, when the Google-owned platform removed the clip. YouTube eventually restored the video.<\/p>\n<p>Bryson Gray<\/p>\n<p>The conservative rapper sensed the time was right to put a melody behind the \u201cLet\u2019s Go Brandon\u201d chant. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wlHR7M-1fX4\">His song<\/a> of the same name did more than that.
