I could go on and on about it,\u201d Terri said. \u201cThey were out of jail repeatedly because of our district attorney and his lenient policies. Defendant Justin Flores went on to <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/prosecutor-gets-blame-for-gunman-killing-two-los-angeles-area-police-force-members\">gun down two police officers<\/a> responding to a call at a motel on June 14. Backup officers shot Flores to death in the parking lot.<\/p>\n<p>The county\u2019s sheriff, a former district attorney and a bipartisan group of victims blasted Gascon over the episode, given that Flores would still be in jail if the gun charge was not downgraded per Gascon\u2019s policy against weapons charges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGascon\u2019s policies have grave consequences,\u201d Sheriff <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/alex-villanueva\">Alex Villanueva<\/a> told the <i>Washington Examiner<\/i>. \u201cUnfortunately, it\u2019s the innocent person who pays the price. In this case, two cops are just doing their jobs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both Krasner and <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/fairness-justice\/los-angeles-district-attorney-george-gascon-slammed-parole\">Gascon<\/a> belong to an elite club \u2014 prosecutors elected within the past five years receiving direct or indirect donations from Soros while their cities are ravaged by crime.<\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/fairness-justice\/san-francisco-da-replaces-chesa-boudin-drug-policies\">SAN FRANCISCO\u2019S NEW ANTI-WOKE DA REVERSES LAX DRUG CASE POLICIES OF PREDECESSOR BOUDIN<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>PACs gave <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10894581\/George-Soross-groups-spent-40-million-elect-75-progressive-prosecutors-decade.html\">Krasner and Gascon<\/a> $1.3 million and $4.7 million, respectively, for campaigns that promised to reform the criminal justice system. Other freshman Soros beneficiaries include Alvin Bragg in Manhattan ($1.1 million), Kim Foxx of Cook County, Illinois, ($2 million), and Buta Biberaj of Loudoun County, Virginia, with $922,000, the <i>Daily Mail <\/i>reported.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Soros-funded PACs helped bankroll the campaign of <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/san-francisco\">San Francisco<\/a> District Attorney Chesa Boudin, who was recalled last month after a high-profile campaign organized by victims and former prosecutors. For example, <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fox6now.com\/news\/local-lawmakers-leaders-respond-after-3-killed-11-injured-in-south-street-mass-shooting\">a shootout<\/a> in the middle of a Philadelphia street on June 4 injured 11 and left three people dead. Krasner blamed the shooting on access to weapons and the NRA.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not working. Who thinks that this system of giving people second, third, fourth chances is working? Our city is not safe. It hasn\u2019t been safe for quite some time,\u201d Terri O\u2019Connor said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are younger victims being shot and killed every day. It\u2019s because they are let out again and again, and every time it happens, you see their arrest records,&#8221; O&#8217;Connor added. &#8220;It\u2019s disgusting how many priors they have. Nothing is done about it. They are not kept behind bars where they deserve to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The policies are in line with reforms put forth by Soros, who defended his actions in a recent <i>Wall Street Journal<\/i> op-ed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to invest more in preventing crime with strategies that work \u2014 deploying mental-health professionals in crisis situations, investing in youth job programs, and creating opportunities for education behind bars.
