The results showed that most people don\u2019t think the bill will reduce inflation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you think this bill will increase or decrease inflation?\u201d the survey asked. More than one third of the respondents (36%) said it will increase inflation while only 12% said they think it will decrease inflation. A majority (51%) supported the bill that YouGov referred to as a \u201cclimate and energy bill,\u201d while 31% opposed and 17% were unsure.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cInflation Reduction Act\u201d would be the largest legislative climate spending in U.S. history at $369 billion while increasing taxes on billion-dollar companies. The spending package would also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/bidens-inflation-reduction-act-would-allow-irs-to-hire-up-to-87000-new-employees-raise-taxes-report\">allow<\/a> the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to hire up to 87,000 employees as it increases taxes on the majority of Americans, according to new reports.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) gave the bill her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/kyrsten-sinema-pushes-bidens-agenda-forward-agrees-to-democrat-tax-increases-and-climate-spending\">approval<\/a> Thursday night, meaning the Senate appears to have enough votes to pass the massive package. Sinema was the last Democrat to hold out on the legislation after Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) came to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joe-manchin-revives-bidens-agenda-agrees-to-democrat-package-of-tax-increases-and-climate-spending\">surprise agreement<\/a> with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) last week.<\/p>\n<p>Upon his agreement, Manchin claimed that reconciling with Democrats on the package will help the country fight inflation, but findings from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/democrat-inflation-reduction-act-could-slightly-increase-inflation-over-next-two-years-study-finds\">Penn Wharton Budget Model<\/a> now bring that claim into question. If signed into law, the \u201cInflation Reduction Act\u201d could result in the exact opposite of what its name suggests, as it is estimated to slightly increase inflation over the next two years, according to the Penn Wharton study.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Act would very slightly increase inflation until 2024 and decrease inflation thereafter.
