Jackson decision overturning Roe v. REUTERS\/Evelyn Hockstein<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cDOJ GEN believes that access to safe and legal abortion care is not only a \u2018fundamental right[],\u2019 but also a human right\u2014one that governments must protect to \u2018eliminate discrimination against women and to ensure women\u2019s right to health as well as other fundamental human rights,\u2019 \u201d the organization said, quoting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2022\/08\/03\/fact-sheet-president-biden-issues-executive-order-at-the-first-meeting-of-the-task-force-on-reproductive-healthcare-access-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">White House<\/a> and U.N.
