Ron DeSantis of Florida.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn case you missed civics class, prosecutors don\u2019t get to make the laws,\u201d Carlson said, discussing the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/04\/desantis-suspends-andrew-warren-child-sex-changes\/\">suspension<\/a> of Anthony Warren, a State Attorney reportedly backed by George Soros. \u201cProsecutors enforce the laws. They prosecute people for violating the laws. Legislatures make laws.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/02\/george-soros-democrats-cities-worse-leo-terrell-hannity\/\">(RELATED: \u2018Taking Their Marching Orders From George Soros\u2019: Leo Terrell Accuses Democrats Of Being Bought)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour representatives are elected by you to write into law the rules that you support,\u201d Carlson continued. \u201cYou get to create the parameters of your own society. That\u2019s called democracy. But when a prosecutor decides which laws are valid and which laws are not, that is the most basic subversion of democracy, and Andrew Warren has done that for six years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flgov.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Executive-Order-22-176.pdf\">suspended<\/a> Warren Thursday over Warren\u2019s refusal to enforce legislation on abortion and child sex changes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe list that Gov. DeSantis just read is just partial,\u201d Carlson said. \u201cAndrew Warren also decided that he would not enforce HB 1. That\u2019s the law that increased penalties for rioters. Warren refused to prosecute 67 BLM rioters in the summer of 2020. He said there had been no breach of the peace in Tampa when there most certainly had been, but he decided to ignore it because he agreed with their politics. More recently, Warren declined to prosecute a gang member accused of shooting into a house with children inside after shooting somebody else.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carlson claimed that Warren targeted a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/03\/30\/florida-sheriff-issues-arrest-warrant-for-pastor-who-refused-to-cancel-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pastor<\/a> who held services during the COVID pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Warren could not be reached for comment.
