The original image shows Melania Trump breaking ground on a tennis court in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ivana Trump, the first wife of the former president, died at the age of 73 after reportedly sustaining injuries to her torso in a fall at her residence in New York City July 14, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/ivana-trump-wife-president-trump-dies-age\/story?id=86834496\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ABC News<\/a>. Ivana Trump was buried at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey July 20, the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/07\/20\/this-is-where-ivana-trump-was-buried\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Post<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>An image shared on Facebook appears to be a screenshot of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CgzVI6igYmU\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;ig_rid=3d30ac77-2caa-48f2-ac59-d37def6b2a65\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instagram post<\/a> from art critic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pulitzer.org\/winners\/jerry-saltz-new-york-magazine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jerry Saltz<\/a> that shows Melania Trump, the current wife of Donald Trump, participating in the burial of Ivana Trump. It shows Melania Trump smiling as she holds a shovel and stands on top of the grave. \u201cTruly one of the sickest images of late: Melania Trump burying Ivana Trump on the New Jersey Trump Golf course,\u201d reads part of the Instagram post\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p>The image is digitally altered. It\u2019s still real to me, anyway,\u201d reads part of the updated caption.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time misinformation about Ivana Trump\u2019s death has spread online.
