The gathering had nothing to do with current farming protests in Italy.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Farmers in the Netherlands are currently demonstrating against a proposed government rule that targets the nation\u2019s agricultural industry in an effort to reduce carbon emissions, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/world\/dutch-farmer-revolt-harsh-climate-law-beginning-experts-say-there-will-be-unrest-all-over\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fox News<\/a>. Several other countries across Europe, including Germany, Italy and Spain, have witnessed similar protests in solidarity with the Dutch farmers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstpost.com\/world\/explained-why-farmers-protests-that-kicked-off-in-the-netherlands-are-spreading-across-europe-10925091.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Firstpost<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"e5nlhep0\">\n<div class=\"kvgmc6g5 cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql\">\n<p>The Facebook video, viewed over 7,200 times, allegedly shows a large group of Italian farmers protesting against the government. \u201cThe Italian farmers fighting back against enforced farming legislation,\u201d reads the post\u2019s caption. \u201cPoliticians across the Western countries are crippling our food supply.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span>The caption of the video is misleading. While the footage is legitimate, it stems from the \u201c<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.proloco.villafrancapte.to.it\/aggiornamenti\/75\/TRACTOR-BEER-FEST\"><span>Tractor Beer Fest<\/span><\/a>\u201c<span> held July 23 in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comune.villafrancapiemonte.to.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Villafranca Piemonte<\/a>.
