Post-presidential teams are not paid for out of pocket by former presidents, but rather continue to receive taxpayer support; as \u201ccoordinator,\u201d Hutchinson made an annual salary of $90,000 at taxpayers\u2019 expense.<\/p>\n<p>Hutchinson\u2019s continued position is in stark contrast to her high-flying condemnations to the House Jan. 6 panel.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the events of Jan. 6, Hutchinson said:\u00a0\u201cAs an American, I was disgusted. It was unpatriotic. It was un-American. We were watching the Capitol building get defaced over a lie.
