Wade was \u201cunconstitutional.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the press briefing, Jean-Pierre said the decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization that overturned Roe v. Wade was an \u201cunconstitutional action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom day one, when the Supreme Court made this extreme decision to take away a constitutional right, it was an unconstitutional action by them,\u201d Jean-Pierre said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Jean-Pierre says it was \u201cunconstitutional\u201d for SCOTUS to overturn Roe. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zQyzdZxRh8\">pic.twitter.com\/zQyzdZxRh8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Greg Price (@greg_price11) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/greg_price11\/status\/1554885788772585475?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 3, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Democrats have decried the recent landmark ruling and attacked the legitimacy of the court. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/10\/harris-attacks-scotus-ruling-as-violation-of-bodily-autonomy-while-biden-admin-continues-to-force-vaccination\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Harris Attacks SCOTUS Ruling As Violation Of Bodily Autonomy While Biden Admin Continues To Force Vaccination)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis decision is the culmination of a deliberate effort, over decades, to upset the balance of our law,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/24\/joe-biden-supreme-court-roe-v-wade-voters-midterms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">President Joe Biden<\/a> said in June. \u201cIt\u2019s a realization of an extreme ideology and a tragic error by the Supreme Court, in my view. The court has done what has never done before: expressly take away a constitutional right that is so fundamental to so many Americans that it had already been recognized.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair Jaime Harrison <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/24\/dnc-chair-jaime-harrison-calls-supreme-court-illegitimate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">called<\/a> the high court \u201cillegitimate\u201d after Roe was overturned. He was responding to a tweet from Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who celebrated the ruling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt isn\u2019t up to you, this illegitimate court, or a bunch of state elected officials to decide what happens to a woman\u2019s body \u2026 that choice belongs to a woman and no one else!
