The shooting at a July 4 parade left seven people dead among 47 named victims, Fox News said.<\/p>\n<p>County prosecutor Ben Dillon claimed the 22-year-old confessed to the attack following his arrest during Crimo\u2019s initial July 6 court hearing, which the suspect attended remotely, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20220709004231\/https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/suspect-chicago-area-parade-shooting-due-court-face-7-counts-murder-2022-07-06\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reuters<\/a>.
