Jerry Nadler and Carolyn Maloney refused to say Tuesday whether they would support President Joe Biden in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Nadler and Maloney were both asked during a debate whether Biden should run for re-election in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToo early to say,\u201d Nadler said. \u201cDoesn\u2019t serve the purpose of the Democratic Party to deal with that until after the midterms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maloney also dodged the question as best she could.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t believe he\u2019s running for re-election.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u201cShould President Biden run again in 2024?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Democrat Rep. Carolyn Maloney: \u201cI don\u2019t believe he\u2019s running for re-election.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\ud83e\udd14 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HzrUCVVYPF\">pic.twitter.com\/HzrUCVVYPF<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1554621438577049602?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 3, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Democrats have become increasingly hesitant to publicly endorse a potential Biden run as the president\u2019s poll numbers crater.<\/p>\n<p>Democratic West Virginia Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/02\/joe-manchin-msnbc-andrea-mitchell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joe Manchin<\/a> got into a shouting match Tuesday while on MSNBC when he refused to answer whether he would support Biden in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWould you support Joe Biden if he\u2019s on the ticket in 2024 as the Democratic President seeking re-election?\u201d MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell asked.<\/p>\n<p>Manchin then refused to answer, screaming he would not \u201ctalk about\u201d the election. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/01\/axios-cofounder-mike-allen-joe-biden-record-remarkable\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: \u2018Remarkable Record\u2019: Axios Co-Founder Says Biden Is Doing A Great Job, Compares Him To Reagan)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Democratic Missouri Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/25\/cori-bush-biden-reelection-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cori Bush<\/a> also refused to give a straight answer on <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/08\/02\/democrats-cnn-msnbc-joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biden\u2019s<\/a> possible candidacy during a recent interview with KSDK.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you want to see Joe Biden run for a second term?\u201d Bush was asked.<\/p>\n<p>A Bush staffer quickly tried to interject and rush Bush out of the interview before the interviewer again pressed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s an easy question, it\u2019s not going to take long, do you want to see Joe Biden run?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t want to answer that question,\u201d Bush said. \u201cHe\u2019s the president. He has the right to run for a second term.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A recent Quinnipiac <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/07\/21\/joe-biden-approval-rating-low-quinnipiac\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">poll<\/a> found Biden\u2019s approval rating hit 31%. Ninety-four percent of Republicans disapprove of Biden\u2019s job as president while 67% of independents disapprove. A majority of those polled disapprove of Biden\u2019s handling of the economy, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, foreign policy and gun violence, according to the poll.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New York Democratic Reps.
