She has been supporting the thing she despises this entire time\u2026,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Todd Gage, a union vice president, joined in the mockery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish I could give her a list of all the campaigns she has donated to in the last 17 years! Her head would explode,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Local 556\u2019s second vice president, Brett Nevarez, chimed in, \u201cso typical bat****\/dip**** cannot read her paycheck!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Union officials, including its president, Audrey Stone, attended the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/womens-march\">Women\u2019s March<\/a> in Washington, D.C., in 2017. The event receives funding from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=98xR1grjqBY\">Planned Parenthood<\/a>, the largest abortion provider in the country.\u00a0Stone, who was included in the email chain, does not appear to have admonished anyone for the inappropriate remarks.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t just Carter who came in for scorn when disagreeing with the union\u2019s politics, the messages show. Union members who apparently did not keep in line with the union on social media were \u201ctargeted\u201d for \u201cassassination.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am all about targeted assassinations,\u201d an email from union activist Brian Talburt\u00a0reads, discussing social media dissidents. The message was sent to Southwest\u2019s then-senior director in inflight services Sonya Lacore, and then forwarded to Stone by Talburt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt IS maddening trying to reason with these sheeple,\u201d Talburt said, comparing at least one other critic to \u201ccancer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Talburt also called Corliss King, a black woman who later became a Local 556 executive board member, \u201cincredibly dangerous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am sure with her dreadful work history, there could be opportunity,\u201d he said of King. \u201cShe will play VERY well to the heavy inner city, minority crowd coming on board soon.\u00a0She will be their voice. She will be a huge threat in our upcoming election as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Further, union critic Mike Casper was called a \u201ccancer\u201d that must be \u201ceradicated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI highly encourage targeting people,\u201d Talburt wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Since Carter\u2019s legal victory, both Southwest Airlines and TWU union officials have vowed to appeal the ruling. National Right to Work Foundation President Mark Mix pledged to \u201ckeep fighting\u201d for Carter and others who\u2019ve \u201cexperienced similar hostility.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMs. Carter demonstrated that, even in an overwhelmingly toxic environment, independent-minded workers can stand up, push back against union boss attacks on individual rights and free speech, and win,\u201d Mix said in a statement to The Daily Wire. \u201cThe evidence presented at Carter\u2019s trial reveals an ingrained union culture of intimidation and prejudice against dissident workers.
