Government officials like Dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-anthony-fauci\">Anthony Fauci<\/a> and companies including Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/fauci-other-us-officials-served-in-lawsuit-over-alleged-collusion-to-suppress-free-speech_4612827.html\">were served<\/a> soon after.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve got a treasure trove of information that we think are going to come to us here shortly,\u201d\u00a0Landry said on EpochTV\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/this-is-the-government-colluding-with-big-tech-ag-jeff-landry-on-the-first-amendment-lawsuits-hes-leading_4632683.html\">American Thought Leaders<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe subpoenas have gone out. They\u2019re being served. I think Dr. Fauci got served, and he and other members of the president\u2019s Cabinet, and they\u2019re gonna have to send us communications between them and the platforms. And what we believe we\u2019ll find is communications between them telling them what they should and shouldn\u2019t put out or what they should suppress, and what they should amplify,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Government officials have said they have not acted improperly.<\/p>\n<p>Officials\u00a0have for years commented on how social media platforms operate, and the federal government is not responsible for how platforms moderate content, U.S. lawyers said in a filing in the case,\u00a0Missouri and Louisiana v. President Biden et al.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose companies independently chose to combat misinformation years ago, before this Administration took office, and before the federal officials sued here made the comments at issue.
