(Olivier Douliery\/AFP via Getty Images) Most Voters Don\u2019t Want Biden to Run Again: Polls <\/p>\n<p>A new <a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/395378\/biden-job-approval-dips-new-low.aspx?utm_source=alert&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_content=morelink&#038;utm_campaign=syndication\">Gallup poll<\/a>\u00a0released Friday found that Biden\u2019s job approval rating has fallen below 40 percent, now sitting at a personal low of 38 percent. Between September and June, his rating floated narrowly between 40 percent and 42 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The same poll showed that Biden\u2019s job approval rating was 57 percent when he first took office in January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/amp.cnn.com\/cnn\/2022\/07\/26\/politics\/cnn-poll-biden-2024\/index.html\">CNN poll<\/a> released on Wednesday found that 75 percent of Democrats or Democrat-leaning voters want an alternative candidate to Biden.<\/p>\n<p>This sentiment was also found in an\u00a0earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/scri.siena.edu\/2022\/07\/12\/biden-job-trump-equally-negative-favorability-except-with-reps\/\">New York Times-Siena College poll<\/a>, released July 12, which found that\u00a064 percent of Democrats or Democrat-leaning voters want a different candidate from the party to run in the next presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>That poll showed that only 33 percent of voters approved of Biden\u2019s job, lower than<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.\u00a0Dean Phillips\u00a0(D-Minn.) on Thursday said that he would not support President Joe Biden running again in 2024, saying that it\u2019s time for a \u201cnew generation\u201d of Democratic candidates.
